Will retire if Centre proves housing scheme spending: Abhishek Banerjee

Trinamool Congress's national general secretary, Abhishek Banerjee, issued a bold challenge to the central government during a rally in Basirhat.

Banerjee stated, "if the central government issues a white paper and proves that it has released even 10 paisa for the housing scheme in the last 3 years, then I will retire from the political courtyard." He further criticized the BJP-led central government, particularly regarding the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
